Performance This type of filters can be developed for large verity of application and performance requirements Typically, the clarity levels aca be from 100 PPM to 1 PPM levels depending on the choice of media and requirement. ADVANTAGES AND LIMITATIONS.Application like paint filtration. Water filtration, alkali or acid filtration, alkali or acid filtration can be developed out of this verity of filer.The filter can be washable. if not(in case of non-woven fabric or filter paper), the filter disc replacement is much economic compared to a replacement of a cartridge.Filtration area of such filter cartiridge is lower than the accodion pleated filter cartridge. However the filtration area is quite high compared to a basket strainer.The filter needs manual cleaning and servicing of cartiridges.
