Razor tape concertina tape, often referred to as razor wire is the modern version of barbed wire, designed to prevent intrusion along perimeter barriers. Razor wire is fabricated from high tensile wire (virtually impossible to cut with standard hand tools) onto which a multitude of razor-sharp barbs are formed at close intervals. The barbs are designed to have a piercing and gripping action. The wire and strip are galvanized to prevent corrosion. The barbed tape concertina is made of galvanized steel or stainless steel blades wrapped around high tensile galvanized steel or stainless steel wire. Barbed tape concertina with short blade profile uses mainly for military purposes such as borders fencing and military bases fencing. Further it uses for civil purposes such as industrial yards fencing, private property fencing and prisons fencing. The short barbed tape concertina has the highest cost effectiveness it has as attractive as barbed wire price and much higher efficiency in preventing penetration. Concertina barbed tapes consist of short blade barded tape, medium blade barded tape, long blade barbed tape, "T" Spec, Ultra barb Blade Profile, Harpoon Profile etc. The rust free surface treated cord wire can be also used as reinforced inner steel cords for the above series of BTC on customer's request.
