We are exporter and supplier of Quick Lime, or Lime, which is a general term referred for a number of related materials. By burning limestone or marble (CaCO3), which are the forms of calcium carbonate, pure lime (calcium oxide (CaO)) is formed and carbon dioxide gas (CO2) is released. Calcined calcium magnesium carbonate (CaMg(CO3)2), dolomite, forms dolomitic lime, which has MgO presence and therefore, different reactivity. Further, hydrated lime (Ca(OH)2), also known as call lime, can be formed on mixing water with the lime. Limestone finds application in agriculture industry to muddy the water.
