Quick Lime

Product Overview

Our High Calcium Quick Lime also known as calcium oxide is derived from treating Lime Stone at more than 900A C temperature. We have robust infrastructural base to produce high quality Quick Lime as per the requirements of clients. We have huge kiln to endure the required temperature without harming the natural environment of the place. Besides, our Dolomitic Quicklime consists of equal molar weight in percentage of magnesium oxide to calcium oxide. Consequently, it is used for various industrial processes. In addition to the above, we render Quicklime at the most reasonable price. Chemical formula : CaO Available products (usually defined by size gradation) : pebble, ground, milled, fluidized lime, dust-free lime (ProviacalAR ), etc. Process The production of high calcium quicklime (calcium oxide) requires a large amount of heat, which is generated in the kiln environment. The quarried and sized high calcium limestone travels through a rotary kiln and is subjected to these high temperatures where the calcium carbonate begins to dissociate with the resultant formation of calcium oxide. The minimum temperature for the dissociation of calcium carbonate is 1648oF (898oC). For practical production purposes, however, the kiln temperature range is from an initial temperture of about 1750oF (954oC) to a final temperature of about 1950oF (1066oC). These temperatures ca
