Our range of FLAMESTOP 138 is an 8-layer double sided aluminium foil laminate with superior radiant heat reflective properties for use as roofing insulation and as a highly effective vapour barrier with air-conditioning ductwrap. FLAMESTOP 138 is manufactured by extruding 2 layers of high strength kraft paper and 2 layers of aluminium foil and heat-welding them together with a 3-way fibreglass reinforcing scrim and 3 layers of copolymer resin to form a perfectly sealed, scratch resistant laminate. FLAMESTOPAR 138 is designed for use as a radiant heat barrier for roof and wall insulation in the building industry, particularly in countries having tropical climate, high humidity and rainfall. FLAMESTOP 138 has a high R-value and can reduce heat flow downwards by 70-80% when properly installed and designed on the basis for a total roof system. FLAMESTOPAR 138 is also suitable as a vapour barrier in air-conditioning ductwork, computer flooring, ceilings and pipe jacketing where moisture control is required.
