Product Overview
Our Fully Tempered Glass is 4 to 5 times stronger than Annealed Glass when measured with constant thickness of glass and uniform static load. After cutting the float glass to the required size it is subjected to controlled heating and then air-cooled. It is made to create an edge compression greater than 9700 PSI and surface compression greater than 10,000 PSI. The key difference between the two types of heat-treated glass is that Fully Tempered Glass has a very high strength and meets the requirement of safety glazing.
