The Metaflex MetaSlide is a door that slides into the wall. The door has been developed for homes for the elderly and rehabilitation centres as well as other applications. The door is ideal for wheelchair traffic and bed transportation because the door slides into the wall. The MetaSlide can be delivered as a door to a corridor, as a door for wet rooms and as a fire-retardation (30 minutes) door. This lightly sliding door will prevent loss of space, approx. 2.5 m2, that is lost due to the door opening when a hinged door is involved. Aesthetically the door can be handsomely fitted into your concept due to the flowing transition of the door into the wall. The door will remain in the clear opening in part because it is provided with U-handles. If you select a recessed handle, the door will disappear completely from the clear opening. The door is provided in HPL plating and can be automated or provided with a lock and glass sandwich as well as other features; in short:
