This portland cement is a clinker-based hydraulic cement with 50 -kilogram weight and excellent early and ultimate strength. It has been specially formulated to provide rapid early strength development, hardening, and long working time. Extra rapid hardening ordinary portland cement (EOR-OPC) is ideally suited to industrial applications where a fast set is required such as in high-volume concrete mixing of vertical shuttering systems. It has a rapid setting time, strong bond, and high resistance to freeze-thaw cycles, making it SO3 2.8% and MgO 2.0% an ideal choice for building foundations, sidewalks, and parking lots. It is suitable for use in all types of masonry work, from roads to bridges, and in concrete manufacture.
