CETEX Acrylic Sealer (AS) is a premium product that can be applied on variety of surfaces for protection as well as improving the gloss and water resistance. It is concentrated water based emulsion of thermoplastic resin. It is diluted with water and applied by brush or spray. It is eco-friendly. MECHANISM On application of diluted solution, it dries to form a protective film on the surface. The bonding agents present in the solution results in better adhesion of film on various surfaces. The presence of bonding agent prevents peeling off effect and makes the application long lasting. ADVANTAGES * It is concentrated product. It has to be diluted with water at site before use. * Can be applied of various surfaces like concrete, stones, wood, metal, etc. * It gives a long lasting glossy, wet look finish on the surface. Will not yellow, discolour. * It has very high abrasion resistance and good bonding with treated surface. * Protects the surface from stains and various other chemicals. * Quick drying. The treated surface is air cured. * Provides excellent resistance to water and dirt. * Excellent weather ability. It can be used on exterior as well as interior surfaces. * It is water- based, very low VOC. It is eco-friendly. Non-flammable. Non-toxic. Low odor. PROPERTIES Type : Emulsion of premium acrylic resins Color : Milky white (Dries clear) Specific Gravity : 1.04 +/- 0.02 at 25oC Solid content: Above 50% w/w COVERAGE:- CETEX AS is concentrated. It can be diluted 2 - 4 times with water depending on the application and the result required. Hence coverage of 1.0 kg of concentrated material will vary from 10 to 15 sq. mtr. per litre. However, field trials should be conducted to determine the optimum dilution and coverage to achieve the required result. DIRECTION OF USE:- ~ All loose and damaged surfaces should be thoroughly rectified. ~ Surface should be free from dust, grease, coatings like curing compounds, etc. ~ Surface should be dried thoroughly before application. ~ It is advised to apply in two steps. a) Primer coat - Dilute it with 3 - 4 times by volume (ratio 1:4) of water. b) Final coat (after primer coat dries)- dilute with minimum 2-3 part of water for every one parts of AS (ratio 1:3) ~ In case of floor, light foot traffic can be started after 4 hours of drying of final coat. ~ After application the surface can be buffed for improving the gloss. PACKING:- CETEX-AS is available in 50, 210 kg pack. Other pack sizes available on request. STORAGE:- Store in frost-free condition away from sunlight or extreme heat. For best result, use within one year.
