A bucket elevator, also called a grain leg, is a mechanism for hauling flowable bulk materials (most often grain or fertilizer) vertically.Three types of bucket elevator types are Centrifugal Discharge, Continuous/ Gravity Discharge and Positive Discharge. This is the most common type of elevator in the field that uses centrifugal force to discharge the product.
