Product Description & Application Notes This product is one of the best, multi-blend based programs in the AQUAQUEST range, containing polymeric sludge dispersant, antifoam, plus various ratios of phosphate hardness precipitant and alkali, each suitable for particular applications. This product is suitable for all types of boilers but especially small to medium pressure. It is designed for permanent application with high alkalinity, softened boiler feed-waters, and feed water-having hardness in the range of 20-30 ppm as a complete treatment in one drum. This product should be added via a suitable injection point as far back in feed-water system as possible to ensure adequate time for complete reaction. Dosing and control should be primarily, based on satisfying the demand phosphate demand but sufficient caustic alkalinity is also necessary. Aim for a phosphate reserve of 10-30 ppm as Na3PO4. TYPICAL PHYSICAL PROPERTIES Appearance Colorless to light Brown Color liquid pH (neat) 9.0-10.0 Specific Gravity @ 25oC) 1.15-1.19 pH of 1 % 8.5-9.5 Solubility in water Freely soluble in water Feed Rate Normally 10-20 ppm of product is to be dosed based on steam production per day.
