High TDS & Silica Scale Base Antiscalant. Threshold inhibition of carbonate, phosphate and sulphate scales. Very effective in broad spectrum of water used in membrane separation systems. Reduces the frequency of cleaning. Low dose rate leading cost effective operation. Good performance with all types of membrane. Enhanced rates of recovery. Chemical formula: (C3H4O2)n Molecular weight: Variable (depends on the degree of polymerization) Appearance: Clear to yellowish liquid or white to light yellow powder Solubility: Soluble in water, insoluble in organic solvents pH (1% solution): 2.5-3.5 Density (at 25A C): 1.1 g/cm3 (liquid), 0.7-0.8 g/cm3 (powder) Viscosity (at 25A C): 100-500 mPa.s (liquid) Usage: Typically used at a concentration of 1-30 ppm (parts per million) in RO water treatment systems.
