Direct Dyes which have poor wash fastness on cotton Fabrics can be improved by incorporation of JC CDF in the final washing operation. CDF Reactive dyes which are prone to hydrolysis with water give inferior wet fastness also bleeding of colour take place when washing off is not through. Both the above defects can be corrected by using JC CDF in the final washing operation.
