This sodium hypochlorite solution having CAS number 7681-52-9 is mostly used as a disinfectant or a bleaching agent. This is a 12% solution that is widely used in waterworks for the chlorination of water and its soluble in water, the purity of a solution is 0.5 percent because this is in liquid form. This product is made up of one atom of sodium (Na), one atom of chlorine (Cl), and one atom of oxygen (O) but some raw materials including here like chlorine gas with caustic soda solution. The shelf life of this solution is 150 days.
