DISPOSAL CONSIDERATIONS Products containing LAS disposed of down-the-drain are transported to wastewater treatment plants or discharged to the environment. LAS not biodegraded in wastewater treatment will be discharged in effluent or in the biosolids (sludge) produced by wastewater treatment. LAS in sludge may enter the environment from land application of sludge to agricultural soil or in leachate from landfills. TRANSPORT INFORMATION QUAWASH is safe to be transported in plastic carboys and plastic coated tankers. Never transport QUAWASH in MS drums as it could get biodegrade the product due to corrosion.
