ADDPLUG is a high performance cross linked hydrophilic polymer with extreme water absorbance capacity which enables plug formation in the zones of lost circulation. Application Product performs as plug in the zones of lost circulation. It holds water by absorption and plugs fissures and high permeable zones by swelling to many times of its actual size. The fine particles swell together in the zone and completely fill the area. Properties Chemical Composition Cross-linked Polymer Appearance Dry - White granules Hydrated - Transparent Gel Particle Size Powders, Micro Granules & Granules. Specific weight 1.10 g / Cm3 Apparent Density 0.85 Maximum absorbance 400 in de-ionized water. Shelf Life Two years from date of manufacturing when kept in ideal condition User Guidelines Product should be dispersed in fresh water before pumping in the bore hole. When swelling is visible it should be pumped to the zone of lost circulation. Drilling may commence after 30 to 45 minutes of pumping the mixture in the bore hole. Product may be used in a ratio of 5 to 15 kg per 1000 liters of water as per requirement.
