This tape is specially designed for Long term corrosion protection of GI pipes, Buried Pipes & Fittings. PRODUCT FEATURES: a c Excellent Self Adhesion properties a c Excellent adhesion to pipe and self a c Flexibility provides extra protection at vulnerable areas a c Excellent conformability and consistent uniform thickness a c Can withstand in extreme temperature variations a c Easily applied with no special equipment a c Compatible with common pipe coatings&Cold applied PRODUCT KEY BENEFITS: a c Anti Corrosion a c Water a repellent a c No Need of Heat for application , Excellent long term Self Adhesion properties# Not effected by water, salts or soil organics PRODUCT APPLICATIONS: Prepare surfaces by removing all loose scale, rust or other foreign matter by wire brush. Surface must be clean, dry and free of grease. Now spirally wrap the tape with a minimum 1" overlap. For severely corrosive environments, a 55% overlap is recommended. While wrapping, press air pockets out and smooth all lap seams. For additional mechanical protection, an overwrap may be used to increase impact strength and electrical resistance.
