The scientists from the different countries have been working hard for many decades to extend a service life of metalwork. Thus, the Russian scientists have managed to create chemical compositions which became progenitors of our coatings NANO-FIX "Anticor". NANO-FIX "Anticor" consists of nanoscaled silica sol and alumina sol (boehmite). An additive of nanoscaled sols into NANO-FIX "Anticor" composition provides essential decrease in an organic binding content in addition to saving elasticity of the coating and significant increase in adhesion to different surfaces, as well as cohesion strength of the coating itself. Having said so, our NANO-FIX "Anticor" coating essentially does not shrink due to a high percentage of dry residues and possesses high thermal resistance. The fundamentally new approach to corrosion protection is embodied in NANO-FIX "Anticor" coating, involving a complicated chemical interaction of molecules of the components with iron oxides and atoms of a metal lattice. This primer has a property of penetrating into microcracks and pores of the metal together with simultaneous suppression of the corrosion processes which have already started.
