Caustic Magnesia Animal Feedstuff widely used as animal feedstuff, keeping in mind the dietary requirement of Magnesium in different animal groups especially cattle where it is vital for nutritional metabolism. Caustic magnesia affects the nervous system and the lactation process in cattle and its deficiency causes hypomagnesaemia in cattle. Whereas, in pigs and poultry, Magnesium is required only in small amounts for nutritional purposes, although a total lack of it can cause slow growth and reduce egg production in laying hens.
