This Silicon Grease is a specially formulated blend of elastomers and mineral oils with a thick viscosity at room temperature but thinning when temperatures rise. It offers high tack, high shear strength, and excellent adhesion to slipping surfaces for use on steampunk pipes, wood-to-metal contacts, slide bearings, and gears in rolling mills. It has been successfully used as a glue for trucks, buses, and trains. It is resistant to high temperatures, has a low coefficient of friction, and offers excellent resistance to water and moisture. It has a density of 600 kilograms per cubic meter.
