Enginaire precleaners are made in polished aluminium body, inside is cast aluminium, rotor is in ss sheet and is mounted on a jewel bearing, requiring no greasing. This is a self cleaning equipment requiring no maintenance. The equipment needs no power and runs on the suction of the engine. The function of the equipment is that when air goes into the pre-cleaner, through the curved vanes, it causes the rotor to move at a very high speed causing heavier than air particles to move to the periphery and get ejected through the hole provided. Only clean air now flows into your air filters. This reduces 98% of coarse sae dust and is the most widely chosen air pre-cleaner. The selection of model is done first upon cfm and then upon the the air inlet dia.
