Product Overview
The objective of a mechanical refrigeration system is to remove heat from a space or product, and to reject that heat to the environment in some acceptable manner. Evaporative condensers are used to reject heat from mechanical refrigeration systems. The evaporative condenser is a combination of a water cooled condenser and an air-cooled condenser. The vapour to be condensed is circulated through a condensing coil, which is continually wetted on the outside by a re-circulating water system. Air is simultaneously blown upward over the coil, causing a small portion of the re-circulated water to evaporate. This evaporation removes heat from the coil, cooling and condensing the vapour in the coil.
