New generation 7440kW Forced-Ventilation Traction Alternator YJ237A, is designed and developed by CRRC Tianjin Electromechanical Co.,Ltd. The alternator runs under forced ventilation to enhance the temperature rising, which can save the installations of air conditioner and cooling water pump. Air filter and engine cooling system are changed to suit Chinese V160 series diesel engine. The forced-ventilated traction alternator is usually applied to the diesel and tractive units with capacity at or above 3000kw, including electric locomotive,diesel locomotive,tractive unit and diesel-electric hybrid vehicle. It can be used as the power source of AC motor or three-phase asynchronous motor.Through the forced ventilation or air cooling radiator,the maximal allowed speed can be increased to 3000r/min.
