Cylindrical Roller Thrust Bearings

Cylindrical roller thrust bearings provide rigid bearing mountings which have a high load carrying capacity and are insensitive to shock loads. The simple geometrical form of bearing components permits a multitude of combinations; the ground washers of the Cylindrical roller thrust bearings can be completed with thrust needle roller and cage assemblies or, in the case of less demanding mountings, track and thrust washers usually used with thrust needle roller and cage assemblies can be combined with thrust cylinder roller and cage assemblies. Thrust cylinder roller and cage assemblies and thrust needle roller and cage assemblies can be mounted directly without bearing washers if the mating machine components can be used as raceways.FAG cylindrical roller thrust bearings are applied where the load carrying capacity of thrust ball bearings and needle roller thrust bearings is insufficient. The simple geometrical shape of the bearing components makes a high degree of accuracy possible.
