Jamunapari is a dairy goat breed. It is known as the indian goat or, less commonly, the indian jamnapari goat or punjabi goat. Their coat ranges from white to brown and black. Like other breeds, the hair on its body is short, but that can be long along its legs, chin, and tail. A fully grown jamnapari male weighs typically between 80-100 kilograms (180-220 lb) and females between 60-80 kilograms (130-180 lb). The jamunapari has large hanging ears and a thick neck, making for quite an imposing appearance. The udder of this animal is exceptionally well developed; lactation yields may reach 16 kg(35 lb) or even more per day.[2] bucks generally weigh 80 kg (180 lb)or more; does 60 kg(130 lb) or more.
