Raw ponni rice is commonly cultivated over a six-month crop year without the use of chemical pesticides and, as a result, has a delicious flavour and aroma. It has a short grain size, is an excellent source of protein, and is high in nutrients. It is finely processed in a dry white colour with 1% broken and is free from all artificial colours and harmful adulterants.
