Over the years, its US headquarters moved to Savannah, Georgia, and then to New Orleans, Louisiana, before finally settling in Dallas, Texas. From there, ECOM's cotton operations have expanded to Central and South America primarily to Brazil, Paraguay, Guatemala, Nicaragua and Mexico. With changes in production and consumption areas, ECOM has adapted to the demands of a global partnership with its clients and has established new operations in Australia, China and Tajikistan. ECOM Cotton handles over two million bales of raw cotton worldwide and has a local presence in almost all major cotton producing markets, including the United States, Mexico, Brazil, Paraguay, Australia, China, Central Asia, West Africa and India.
