This urad dal is a type of pulse or dal (lentil). the whole urad lentil is ground to make urad dal. it - as with all dals - is an excellent source of protein, fiber, vitamins, and minerals. Store in a cool dry place, away from direct sunlight. The shelf life of this product is 1 year. This dal is brown in colour, and has a prominent black variety called kali urad. The broken percentage of the lentil varies slightly between 5 and 20%. admixture is no more than 1%
