Moong dal is the separated version of whole mung beans in any case called green gram, either paying little heed to skin. The cleaned structure is known as yellow moong dal, yellow dal or yellow modest lentils. Part structure with the skin is known as chilka moong dal, chilka mung or split green mung. Mung beans are called Moong Dal in India. Mung beans are generally called green gram or moong. In Indian Cuisine, both the whole lentils and the split ones are used. The whole mung beans have a green tone and when they are husks are dispensed with, you see the yellow shade of the beans. Moong or green gram is a little A -inch, the round, olive-green bean that is mustard or greyish concealed inside.
