Owing to the vast knowledge in this domain, we have been able to distribute and supply Methi Seeds in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. Methi is a cool season crop. Due to wide adaptability it grown successfully even under hot climatic conditions. Areas with continuous and heavy rains are not recommended for growing methi. Methi can be grow on a wide range of soil provided it is well drained & manure. The seeds can be sown direct, no need to transplant. The seeds can be sown direct, no need to transplant. The seeds are generally broadcasted, sowing in lines is much better. Sow the seeds at a distance of 20 cms between rows and 10-20 cms between plants. Methi requires adequate moisture throughout its growing period. Methi can be grown in shallow pots. Scatter the seeds lightly in the pot and water. Keep in semi shade till germination and gradually expose to sunlight over a period of one week. Harvesting is done in about 30-35 days of sowing. The top of the plants are cut 2 cm above the soil. After cutting the leaves, they should be stored in cool conditions.
