This variety has a sweet vaguely anise-like, mint, smoky odor.Blends well with : Bergamot, Clary Sage, Clove Bud, Lime, Eucalyptus, Juniper, Lemon, Neroli, and Rosemary.Caution: May irritate sensitive skin. Avoid during Uses: Prized in Ayurvedic medicine for its ability to strengthen compassion, faith and bring clarity. Basil clears the sinuses, promotes digestion and stimulates circulation, especially in the respiratory system. It has also Soothing, muscle relaxant, toner properties.Note: Essential Oils are not recommended to be taken internally unless under the supervision of a Medical Doctor who is also qualified in clinical Aromatherapy.
