Carbomain is a carbamate insecticide/nematicide that is effective against a variety of insect pests on all major crops. Through contact and systematic action, the Carbomain formulation demonstrates efficient pest control. When applied to the soil, carbomain is absorbed by plant roots and functions systematically through the vascular system to manage the nourishment of roots and leaf pests. Insects are killed by foliar treatments due to direct contact and eating of treated plant components. Carbamates are used as bait in insect sprays to kill them by disrupting their nervous system and brain. Ticks, ants, fleas, crickets, aphids, scales, moths, bugs, and flour bugs are all killed by it on crops and at home. Some carbamates are effective insect repellents. Carbamate poisoning can occur through cutaneous, inhalation, or gastrointestinal (GI) exposure. Based on LD50 measurements in rats, the World Health Organization (WHO) Pesticide Classification divides pesticides into five classes. The intensity of the symptom is determined by the pesticide class and the dose of exposure.
