Product Overview

Our UHMW Siloxane Gum is an ultra high molecular weight PDMS (Polydimethyl Siloxane) with low volatiles content. It is designed to be used as an additives for thermoplastics for improve processing properties, including resin flow ability, better mould filling , less extruder torque, internal lubrication, mould release and faster throughput. Meanwhile, better surface quality can be expected too. Like lubricity , slip , lower coefficient of fraction, anti-scratch resistance and greater Mar and abrasion resistance . Except used as an additives , it can be also incorporated into thermoplastic resins preferably by batch technologies. Features : Lower materials surface energy Improving the processing properties, less extruder torque, reduced equipment wear, better mold filling and reduce product defect rate. Obvious lower the coefficient of friction (COF), improve surface smoothness, gloss, enhance the surface silk texture, scratch and abrasion resistance. Enhanced fuel resistance, reduced smoke density, improve the impact strength . Good stability, non-migratory. Recommend dosage Addition level at 0.1%to 1%, can improve the producta s processing, liquidity, mold release. At a high level: 1% to 5% can improve the surface properties
