It is one of India's largest organized player in Bananas, and operates out of two locations in West Bengal (Kolkata & Siliguri) Our current volumes are at 45 MT/day (approx 0.35 million pieces) and we are the market leaders by a wide margin, with volumes estimated at 3x the nearest competitor. KAL uses ethylene ripening technology which is the only method approved by FSSAI, and is a pioneer in terms of branding bananas through stickering.
