Product Overview
Availability of Phosphorous : The phosphorous present in cereal feed is mostly entrapped in phytate residues. The chicken digestive juices lack the enzyme phytase necessary to liberate the phosphorous for absorption by the gut wall. Hence Dicalcium phosphate (DCP) or Tricalcium phosphate (TCP) is added to fulfill the phosphorus requirement of the chicken. Addition of phytase enzyme in measured quantity can considerably bring down incorporation levels of external phosphorous sources. Breaking down NSPs : Most of the vegetable feed stuffs like maize, soymeal, jowar, bajra, wheat, rice, rice products, sunflower cake, ground nut cake, rapeseed meal, sesame meal etc. inherently contain certain level of cell wall carbohydrate residues which are known as nonstarch poly saccharides (NSPs)
