Product Overview
The outer shell of Decapsulated Artemia Cysts is covered with bacteria and there is a strong possibility of introducing infections in fish and crustacean cultures after the introduction of nauplii with empty cysts. The chorion (outer coating of the eggs) can be removed with chemical treatment. This process is called decapsulation which does not harm the embryo or affects the hatch ability of the cysts.
