Coir pith is used as a growing medium for all plants in the agriculture field as it has the ability to hold more water and allows air to pass through. It is made out of coconut husk which is separated from the coconut using machines or by hand. The Coconut husks are then soaked in water for some time, so that we get the coir fiber easily by crushing the coconut husk in defibiring machine. Coir pith is dried under sunlight and further used in many forms like pith blocks, grow bags and organic manure, etc. Coir pith is compressed into any shape or size by processing through a machine to form pith blocks. When pith is dumped into a plant growing bag it is called Grow bag. Where we can easily remove the bags and plant the trees. Coir pith is used as a soil-less as a medium for plant growth.
