Product Overview
Product Name: Lincomycin HCl premix 11% Composition: Lincomycin Hydrochloride Appearance light brown to brown powder. Pharmacological Action Pharmacodynamics: Lincomycin HCl premix 11% is active against Gram positive bacteria, some anaerobic bacteria and mycoplasma. Its antibacterial spectrum is similar to macrolides. Aerobic gram-negative bacteria have drug resistance to this compound. It also can be used as feed additive to promote animal growth and increase feed conversion rate. Pharmacokinetics It is absorbed rapidly but not sufficiently after oral administration. Its bioavailability is about 20-50%. The concentration of drug in blood will reach the peak after 2-4 hours. It is distributed widely in the body; the drug concentration in tissues is several times than in blood. It can get across placental barrier, but not blood-brain barrier. It is transformed in liver. The unchanged drug and its metabolites are eliminated mainly through bile, dejecta, urine, and milk. Drug interactions This compound has synergetic effect with spectinomycin. Combined use with amino glycosides has synergetic effect toward Gram positive bacteria. It has antagonistic action with macrolides. Adaptation Diseases Gram-positive bacteria infection, Treponema hyodysenteriae etc.
