Product Overview
Laurel supply several grades of Mullite Insulating Brick in applications from 1260a to 1760a . Each grade of the brick is formulated to meet specific thermal and physical requirements. After the firing, each brick is machined to close dimensional tolerance. Insulating bricks are manufactured utilizing exceptionally high purity clays and other ceramic materials. The carefully graded organics which are used during the manufacturing process burn out during firing to give a uniform pore structure. Applications: 1. Primary hot face linings 2. Back-up insulation for furnaces and kilns 3. Flue insulation 4. Sulphur recovery equipment 5. Hot blast stoves Features: 1. High insulating properties 2. Strong compressive strength 3. Low heat storage 4. High purity 5. Tight dimensional tolerance 6. Energy saving 7. Low impurities
