Dates can be easily grown from seed in which 50% of seeding will be female. Dates are ripped in four stages, popularly known as kimri, khlal, rutab and tamr. Uses: They provide wide range of nutrients and are very good source of dietery potassium . It has 80% of sugar and also contains protein, fiber, boron, cobalt, copper, fluorine, magnesium, manganese, selenium and zinc. Dates can also be used as stock feed after mixing it with grain. Dates are also useful for women who are in the final weeks of their pregnancy as it has positive effects on labor.
